Building Stronger Supplier Relationships

I’ve been diving into our supplier relationship management practices lately, and it’s clear that fostering transparency and regular communication can lead to better outcomes. We switched to quarterly check-ins with our top suppliers and have already seen a noticeable improvement in responsiveness and collaboration. I’m curious if anyone else has tried a similar approach and what results you’ve experienced.

We recently started sending out a short survey after each check-in to gather feedback. It’s like asking for the secret sauce to improve the recipe! Have you thought about something similar to keep the lines open?

I completely agree that regular communication is key. During our quarterly reviews, we also share market insights that can help suppliers adjust their strategies. It’s been great for building trust and cooperation, but sometimes we find they can be hesitant to share their challenges.

, I know what you mean about communication being crucial. We also do quarterly check-ins, but we started recording them in a shared folder so the teams can refer back to them anytime. It’s made a big difference in clarity for both sides.
